Job Description :
- Design, implement and administer database strategies to gain optimal performance of database.
- Create database objects, DDL/DML statements, and Management studio functionality.
- Backup/restore procedures, reorgs, space utilization; Upgrade databases, instances, SSIS packages, hardware from lower version to higher versions.
- Conduct performance tuning activities using different approaches such as reviewing query plans, indexing strategies, table partitioning, and database and server configurations.
- Setup Log shipping configurations and replication between multiple servers.
- Evaluate hardware and software requirements, write data structure and procedure for databases.
- Design and implement database server environment for disaster recovery in a cluster environment.
- Execute business continuity plans and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure the integrity of the database.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent with 60 months of related progressive experience required.
