Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work in in Agile/ SCRUM based project structure & environment.
• Follow Agile Scrum process and participate in sprint meetings, daily and weekly demo and review meetings
• Gather requirements, data, trend information from customers, project stakeholders and engineers.
• Analyze market trends, product demand, strategies, current business intelligence data and provide recommendations for actionable work.
• Determine and provide estimation for the timeline of development, cost & resource required for implemenating customer requirements.
• Prepare analytical reports and provide business intelligence information to users periodically.
• Create and update user information, product information and other application data through databases.
• Evaluate, identify and analyze business strategy implications, tecnology trends and advices for product improvements, new features recommendations and to improve sales.
• Write programs, queries, functions to generate custom reports and data to review by business users and other project stakeholders.
• Interact with current customers, potential customers and provide solutions using business intelligence tools.
• Customize, develop programs & code to update business intelligence data, dashboards, KPI, and other required data processing.
• Develop, maintain data models, documents and reusable application components.
• Develop and implement BI systems, software, database process and spreadsheet data to support business decisions.
• Prepare test cases, test data for data validation testing and coordinate with testing & other developers to test application functionality and ensure that business intelligence data are consistent.
• Provide technical support for software maintenance, business intelligence data to customers, business users and stakeholders.
• Prepare operational procedures, technical specifications, business requirements specifications, reports, whitepapers, presentations regarding BI applications, software, and other implementations in the project.
• Communicate & coordinate with other developers/ engineers to ensure the quality of the product.
• Maintain comprehensible support documentation for new projects and support issues.

Skills Requirement:

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering or relevant degree in science, technology, management is required.
• Primary: MySQL, PGSQL, Oracle, SQL, Tableau/ PowerBI, PLSQL, Open source BI
• Secondary: Java, PHP, Python, JDBC, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid & QTP, JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, HP QualityCenter/ALM, Autosys
• Databases : Oracle, SQL, DB2, SAP Hana, MySQL, PGSQL, MongoDB, PL/SQL and Cloud databases
• Markup and Scripting languages : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, VB script, AJAX, JQuery, Angular JS, Perl, XML
• Others: Eclipse, Putty, Toad, IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, SOAP, JSON
