Job Description:

eGrove is looking for highly qualified and experienced Computer Systems Engineer. The candidate is required to gather, analyze, design, construct, install and maintain IT Infrastructure of our client using the tools required. The candidate is also accountable for designing, implementing, configuring, testing and deploying Enterprise Management Tools, preparing high level and low level documentation, finding root cause of the issues, problem solving through solutions, reviewing and coordinating other team members, rendering day-to-day support to project team, providing extended support via API integration with cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot the issues.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work on the Enterprise Management Tools IBM Netcool analyses the client’s IT environment and gather the requirements to manage the client’s IT Infrastructure as part of the tools Implementation
• Recommends the required tools to manage the IT Infrastructure
• Prepare the Solution design documents as per the requirements
• Design the tools Technical Architecture based on the scope of the Client
• Implement Enterprise Management Tool Netcool, Installation and Configuration of the Netcool and the administration of the implemented tool
• Integrate as per the Architecture design and customize the implemented tools according to project requirements
• Work on documentation for the Implementation of the tools
• Provide support on the Implemented tools, day-to-day support activities
• Monitoring of issues day-to-day
• Support day-to-day Event Management issue
• Configure and setup for Integration
• Setup IBM Netcool new version on test environment
• Integrate Netcool API module to support cloud environment
• Raise Problem Tickets and work on RCA

Skills Requirement:

• A Bachelor’s degree equivalent in Computer Science/ Applications, Information Technology, Engineering Management or relevant field
• Tools & Technologies : Tivoli Netcool, Omnibus, Netcool Impact, Netcool/Webtop, Netcool/SSM, Netcool Gateways, IBM Tivoli Network Management, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, ITM OS Agents SSH, Netcool IDE, C, Perl, Shell, CA Harvest, HP Mercury Quality Centre
• Languages : Java, J2EE, PHP, Python
• Databases : Oracle, SQL, DB2, MySQL, PGSQL, MongoDB
• Scripting languages : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, XML
• OS : Windows, UNIX, Linux, RHEL, Solaris, Mac OS
