Job Description:

eGrove is looking for highly qualified and experienced Computer Systems Engineer. The candidate is required to gather, analyze, design, construct, install and maintain IT Infrastructure of our client using the tools required. The candidate is also accountable for designing, implementing, configuring, testing and deploying applications, software and other required components. The candidate is required to prepare high level and low level documentation, finding root cause of the issues, problem solving through solutions, reviewing and coordinating other team members, rendering day-to-day support to project team, providing extended support for cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot the issues.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

      • Working on CI/CD tools for Automating, building, packaging, deploying and releasing of code from one environment to another environment.
      • Implementing Terraform/ Cloud formation scripts to bring up a stack of servers on AWS cloud
      • Writing ansible-playbooks for the existing shell scripts and make those tasks idempotent
      • Introducing Travis and harness for the CI/CD.
      • Troubleshooting the failed jobs in Jenkins.
      • Design and develop application code for the client requirements.
      • Validate and test the application before deploy to DEV, STAGE, PROD – environments.

Skills Requirement:

      • A Bachelor’s degree equivalent in Computer Science/ Applications, Information Technology, Engineering Management or relevant field
      • Operating Systems: Linux Server, Redhat Enterprise Linux (5,6,7), Ubuntu, Centos, Fedora
      • Product Lifecycle: Redhat Satellite server, Jfrog Artifactory, Jenkins, Ansible, Travis
      • Cloud Management: Openstack, AWS(EC2, S3, VPS)
      • Scripting: Shell scripting, Python, Perl
      • Monitoring: Zabbix, Nagios
      • Firewall: SonicWALL, Cyberroam. Cisco, PFSense
      • Web Server: Apache, Nginx
      • Mail Server: Sendmail, Zimbra
      • Storage/ File Server: NFS, Samba, CEPH Storage
      • Version Control: Perforce, GIT, SVN
      • Others Technologies: CRON management, log analysis, log debugging, monitoring, networking performance and management, repository management, user management
