Job Responsibilities:

• Work on Agile Scrum environment and collaborate with other engineers.
• Gather data metrics, business data needs, available existing data, data to migrate, data to map, data flow, data to process, insights, and reports required from project stakeholders.
• Collect metrics, parameters, and business rules from business stakeholders; document requirements in JIRA.
• Analyze and evaluate software requirements, analyze ETL process and data, convert functional requirements to detailed software specifications.
• Prepare a plan for insights reports, provide estimation for ETL process, report generation program.
• Design tables, structures, schemas and plan for the data transformation process, mapping & migration process.
• Setup data warehouse server, ETL tools, Hadoop ecosystem.
• Design and develop ETL programs using Spark, Hadoop, Python, Hive, Sqoop, MySQL, NoSQL.
• Perform data migration and transform data.
• Develop a program to generate reports, generate charts, reports, interactive dashboards.
• Perform data mappings, reusable mapplets and components.
• Debug, troubleshoot, provide technical support for data program issues, troubleshoot complex data communication systems Create test plans, test programs & scripts for ETL process & data validation testing.
• Perform unit testing, verify security, and performance issues.
• Resolve technical issues and provide PRODUCTION support, maintain source code.
• Prepare and maintain technical documents, data models, schema documentation.
• Demonstrate data flow process.
• Prepare technical reports

Skills Requirement:

• Must possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Electrical or Electronics/ Mathematics or related field or equivalent degree
• Others: IBM DataStage, Hadoop, Talend, Java, J2EE, Python, PHP, MySQL, SQL, SQL Developer Mongo, PostgreSQL, HBase, Crontab, Control M, Spark, PIG, HIVE, Flume, Sqoop, Tableau, Windows, UNIX, Linux.
