Job Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and understand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
• Set up, maintain, and create test automation frameworks in Java using the tools like Selenium (UI testing tool), Cucumber (BDD framework), TestNG (Testing framework), RestAssured (API testing library), Jenkins (Continuous Integration), and GitHub (code repository) on Web platforms and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components to investigate, test and debug bugs.
• Investigate the customer problems referred by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.
• Log bugs that are resulted in testing using a defect tracking tool called JIRA.
• Handle technical communications and understand the customers’ systems.
• Work with deployments teams, coordinate on product design, and offer inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
• Note all testing actions performed in daily and weekly reports.
• Analyze software systems and coordinating with other teams to enhance the overall design.
• Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
• Manage the final quality on production release.

Skills Requirement:

• Must possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Electrical or Electronics/ Mathematics or related field or equivalent degree.
• Other: Java, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, RestAssured, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, Agile, Scrum
