Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work in in Agile/ SCRUM based projects and collaborate with client, developers, business analysts and stakeholders to understand project SEO and Digital Marketing requirements.
  • Follow Agile Scrum process and participate in sprint meetings, daily and weekly meetings
  • Gather software project requirements, digital marketing requirements, target audiences, marketing scope from customers, project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project architect, product owner, testers, developers for updating and optimizing web pages, digital content etc.,
  • Setup up analytics tools for tracking visitors’ behaviors and other tracking information.
  • Analyze website and other related online data to track trends, usage metrics, market data, customer data and competitor data.
  • Perform competitor analysis and do keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Word Tracker, Keyword Discovery etc.
  • Conduct and prepare financial modeling for online marketing programs and website revenue forecasting to define budgets for online marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze and identify the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other key metrics from digital campaigns for client website projects.
  • Implement advertising and other online marketing campaigns and work with creative designers, software engineers & programmers.
  • Implement online search campaigns including paid ads, affiliate programs, social media websites promotions, sponsorship programs, email promotions and other campaigns in social media in order to generate lead and revenue.
  • Conduct A/B Split testing for client and product owner website with similar parameters and do market research to understand customer behavior.
  • Gather, analyze and research market, analyze web metrics using tools like Google Webmaster tools, Google Analytics, and other analytics software tools.
  • Conduct market research analysis to identify search query trends, real-time search, news media activity, social signals and discussions, popular social media topics, market opportunities and also competitor performance in same topics.
  • Optimize website, it’s online assets (forum, page content, FAQ, blog etc) including HTML/ web pages, web page content/ texts, graphics or images, multimedia assets like video, GIF images for better placement of search engine rank positions, display, visibility & usability on internet connected devices using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML etc.,
  • Build natural back links for the domain from highly popular websites, maximize the local search exposure and optimize web site conversion rates against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain branding of the company and product in online, web sites and other internet media.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and programmers for user interface design and other product engineering requirements.
  • Assist in developing system implementation guidelines, branding guideline and style guidelines.
  • Develop and implement internet search engine optimization strategy, continuous analysis, watching competitors – their performance and strategies, analyzing search engine patterns, performs keyword research, advice keyword placements in websites etc.
  • Work on on-page optimization like H-tags, images, Text structure and formatting, keyword mapping, keywords etc.
  • Prepare manuals to describe procedures for SEO meta-information maintenance by web masters, developers in the website, Prepare content strategies and work with technical and professional content writers and regular SEO reports, recommendations and suggestions.


Skills Requirement:

  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering or relevant degree in science, technology, management is required.
