Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop the project in Agile/ SCRUM based project structure.
• Follow Agile Scrum process and participate in sprint meetings, daily and weekly demo and review meetings
• Gather and discuss project requirements, plan for the project, analyze requirements, define scope for the given requirements.
• Develop module Insurance Services
• Work to integrate with Internal applications like HUON, Broker services, Underwriting, Actuarial and Marketing services.
• Design and develop various Integration modules using different tools and programming languages including IBM Integration Bus, IBM Data Power, API Connect, SOAP, RESTful Web services and Java.
• Design the API services, implement coding for these modules and prepare unit tests.
• Assess and review the code to ensure its validity, structure so that it meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices and operating systems.
• Perform peer-to-peer code reviews and code documentation using standards and best practices.
• Build solutions for issues, prepare unit test plans & technical design documents and conduct bug-triage support for break-fix analysis.
• Develop and troubleshoot complex technical issues, support implementation and ensure the availability of the applications.
• Communicate & coordinate with other IIB developers to ensure the quality of the product.
• Create items in sprint backlog, prepare database design document, E-R diagrams and technical specifications.
• Maintain comprehensible support documentation for new projects and support issues.

Skills Requirement:

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent education is must.
• Primary : Java, J2EE, REST, SOAP, JSON and XML
• Secondary : CASE tools documentation, Clear Case, Visio, Jira, IBM Integration Bus, IBM Data Power, API Connect, SOAP, RESTful Web services
• Databases : Oracle, SQL, DB2, MySQL, PL/SQL, MongoDB
• Markup and Scripting languages : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, Angular JS, Perl, XML
• OS : Windows, Unix, Linux
