Restaurant, Retail store ,Personal Care Business

Did not see your business type listed (Call or email to know if you qualify)

Situated in a commercial location with a physical store front in New Jersey.

Currently registered to do business in New Jersey.

Small business as defined by the US small business Administration (SBA)

Able to provide a current NJ Business Assistance or Incentive Clearance Certificate.

How do I know if my business is eligible?

To be eligible for the NJEDA E-commerce Program, your business needs to:

Be in a retail store, restaurant, or personal care business.
Be in a commercial property with a physical storefront in New Jersey.
Be registered to do business in New Jersey.
Meet the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) definition of a small business.
Have a current NJ Business Assistance or Incentive Clearance Certificate.

Does the program include mobile app development?

No, the NJEDA program does not include mobile application design and development, but eGrove Systems can offer assistance to your business for a mobile app, outside of the program.

Can I get social media marketing as part of this program?

The NJEDA program offers limited marketing opportunities. To discover wider strategies for social media marketing, the eGrove Systems plans are designed for your business within various market-leading plans.

What if I already have a website?

If you already have a website, the program will start to redesign your site to be more modern, updated, and user-friendly.

Will you provide website maintenance after the program?

Yes, eGrove Systems will also provide support for 12 months once the website is live.

What are the costs involved?

The NJEDA program has you covered for the development costs of your website up front. You only need to pay for hosting starting in your second month and only pay for domain charges starting in your second year.

What are the total award amounts?

Are doctor’s offices or clinics eligible?

Yes, doctor’s offices and clinics are eligible for this program.

Do you provide grants or help me get NJEDA grants for my business?

No, we do not have any funds to give or help you get the grant money. We are a service provider underneath the NJEDA program. Our program focuses on website development, website redesign, e-commerce sites, online appointment booking, and digital marketing plans at no cost to businesses, which is all we do for this program.

Are wholesale and B2B businesses eligible?

No, this program is exclusively for B2C (business-to-consumer) businesses only.

What does the process look like?

How long does it take to get my website up and running?

The standard timeline is approximately 4 weeks, but this may vary based on the specific requirements and complexity of your website.

Can I apply if I run my business from home?

No, businesses must operate from a physical commercial location in New Jersey to qualify.
