Job Responsibilities:

• Administration and Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Configuration of VMware ESXi servers, VMware vCenter, VMware Site Recovery Manager.
• Managing Windows 2016/ 2012/2008 servers. Server Crash Management (Blue Screen of Death, Recovery Types, Prevention, etc).
• VxRail migration – Installation, configuration, data migration from legacy environment to new VxRail platform.
• Migrating database using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) homogenous migrations and heterogeneous migrations between different database platforms.
• Using AWS DataSync to move data over the network between on-premises storage and AWS Storage services, as well as between AWS Storage services.
• Create Application Load Balancers to support AWS Cloud environment with multiple AWS instances, configure Elastic IP & Elastic Storage, and Auto scaling to design cost effective, fault tolerant, and highly available systems.
• Schedule technical discussion with application architect; understand risk and challenges of applications and risk mitigation plan.
• Work closely with Application owner to conduct Cloud Assessment, Cloud Suitability and Cloud Feasibility.
• Different migration services like AWS Server Migration Service (SMS) to migrate on-premises work loads to AWS.
• Writing Cloud formation templates to create EC2 instances, ELBs , Route 53, DNS, Auto scaling, ElasticSearch, VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups, Cloud Watch, S3, IAM roles.
• Co-coordinate with multiple teams and troubleshoot various types of issues during migration.
• Manage various phases of the migration process, including portfolio discovery, application migration planning and design, migration execution, and post-migration validation and application optimization.
• Windows server support and management duties will include systems administration, monitoring and management, process automation, support of server remediation initiatives.

Skills Requirement:

• Must possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Electrical or Electronics/ Mathematics or related field or equivalent degree.
• Others:  Python, Java, Javascript, Mysql, Git, Azure, VMWare, vSphere, vSAN, Docker or Kubernetes, XML, SOAP, AWS Cloud, Cloud Formation, S3, EC2, Security Groups, RDS, KMS and EFS.
