Job Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop code to Transform and Ingest the sourcing data.
• Prototype and test the developed code.
• Automate job execution with Shell Scripting and ControlM Scheduler.
• Manage system outages and maintenance activities.
• Support upgrade of upstream and downstream system connections.
• Participate in extensive daily discussions with functional and business teams as part of requirement gathering and understanding process.
• Understand the requirements and perform in-depth analysis of the requirements gathered from extensive interactions.
• Design and blueprint the functional design as per requirements.
• Create code and/or build solutions as per requirements in development/ maintenance projects in accordance with coding standards.
• Define standard testing process, creating and setting up in detail test cases to perform testing for defect free delivery.
• Build new reports and application based on business requirement.
• Integrate new systems / affiliate systems into Hadoop environment and roll out functionalities to affiliate users.
• Support data migration activity of affiliate systems which are integrating with Hadoop systems.
• Resolving day-to-day issues by means of incidents created by end users.
• Implement fixes and perform enhancements by means of change request.
• Guide offshore team as an Offshore-Onsite coordinator for faster resolution on the issues.

Skills Requirement:

• Must possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Electrical or Electronics/ Mathematics or related field or equivalent degree
• Others: Scala, PL/ SQL, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark, Sqoop, Unix & Linux Shell scripting, ControlM, Jira
