Job Responsibilities:

• Elicit the business criteria used to evaluate IT vendor products with an understanding of business functions, technology needs, tools and other applications that interface with systems.
• Participate in requirement elicitation and elaboration.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and convert into system design.
• Understanding the business requirements and transform these requirements into product technical specification documents such as architecture diagrams, high-level designs, low or detailed design documents.
• Participate in design review sessions with solution architects.
• Participate in team collaboration sessions and communicate with peers and varied audience.
• Prepare weekly status reports and update Vanguard management regarding progress on project tasks.
• Participate in Change Control Board activities to ensure system specifications are met and to identify the risks and interface issues that may result from approval or rejection of changes.
• Collaborate with Scrum masters, Product owners and other Business analysts to ensure the best practices of the business logic development are utilized so that the solution developed has key edge in the market, when compared to competitive solutions.
• Work in agile development methodology and RESTful web services development.
• Prepare API specifications of the web services using Swagger tool and get it certified from the concerned API Design authority.
• Develop web services using programming languages & technologies including Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure use of coding best practices and to verify correct implementation of requirements.
  Perform Unit Test, Mutation, Integration Test and PACT using tools like JMeter, Splunk, JProfiler
• Work with cloud native architecture using micro-services & container orchestration and deploy applications using CI-CD pipeline.
• Work on production readiness, elevation & production support of the web services.

Skills Requirement:

• Must possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Information Systems or related field or equivalent degree.
• Others: Agile Scrum, RESTful Webservices, Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, CI-CD, AWS, TDD, Selenium, Unit Test, PACT, JMeter, Splunk, JProfiler
