Job Description:
Analyze, design, configure and implement Netcool and Tivoli products; Develop, administer Netcool and ITM Environment; Design, install and configure ITM OS Agents; Integrate and configure probe software with applications to send events to Netcool/Omnibus for Alerts; Research, design and integrate Oracle Gateway for historical database; Integrate with Netcool to create alarms and notify on-call resolvers for critical network incidents; Design, conduct system tests, security analysis; Develop Perl scripts for custom monitoring and log file monitoring; Troubleshoot and fix the Omnibus issues, probe issues; Provide post installation support; Prepare Netcool project release notes and MOP documents; Tools and skills: Netcool, Tivoli, Netcool/Omnibus, Tivoli EIF Probe, CA Spectrum, CORBA probe, Mainframe (T-Plex, N-Plex), Oracle, Perl scripting, Mttrapd, Syslog.
Skills & Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology. Foreign equivalent acceptable. Must have at least 3 years of experience as an information technology professional and in all the above–listed skills and tools. Travel required.
